The Independence Day 10k was held in Calry last Saturday 4th July at 12 noon. A sizable field of over 60 athletes showed up on the day to test their indurance on this tough hilly course which was ideal preparation for Sligo's Warriors Run. The weather stayed fine for the duration of the race which on this occasion went in the opposite direction to last winters "turkey trot" 10k.
