Busy Weekend.

Well done to all Sligo athletes who competed this weekend - Zak Irwin and Odhran Byrne Gildea race over 100m, Dermot McDermott and William Crowe in 800m, Cian Mc Bride in 1500m, Eimear O'Brien and Tommy Carroll in 3000m, and Caelainn McGonigle in the 800m in Birmingham Zak Irwin finished 5th in Senior 100m in Gateshead on Saturday in a time of 11.18, it was a very close race with 2nd place running 11.16 into a -1.0 wind and stuck in lane 8. Caelainn McGonigle ran 2.22 for 800m in Birmingham and Eimear O'Brien ran 10min flat for the 3,000m at the same meet, well done to all.
